LYT Solo Sessions

Thanks to our funding grants we are now able to offer additional online classes, our Solo Sessions (with some FREE spaces!) and we’re excited to offer these to children and adults within the local community! 

 

WHEN

Sessions run for a 6 week block on a day and time to suit you and our Session leader, starting week commencing 29th June and are available during daytime or evenings to suit. Length of Solo Sessions vary based on age between 30 minutes - 1 hr. 

 

WHAT ARE SOLO SESSIONS? 

We have a variety of disciplines available and a limited number of FREE places for LYT members, with heavily discounted rates for non members and adults! 

 

SPEECH AND DRAMA

For ages Primary 4 - Adult 

With a focus on drama and poetry performance and understanding 

 

ACTING

For ages Primary 4 - Adult

With a focus on acting technique and solo performance 

 

MUSICAL THEATRE

For ages Primary 4 - Adult

With a focus on musical theatre solo acting performance and vocals

 

WRITING

For ages S1 - Adult 

With a focus on writing theory and script development

Non-performance session

 

At the end of the Session block, you’ll be presenting your work digitally to our co-founder and theatre industry professional writer, director and composer Andy McGregor for feedback! 

 

COSTS

We are able to offer the first 10 LYT members to participate a FREE space! 

 

For LYT members who don’t snap up a free space, you can participate for only £20 for the block!

 

Non members, and adults within the community, can participate for only £40 for the block!
